Crisis Drive age. nineteen gender. female height. 5' 6'' species. experiment positive points. ■ reliable - If she says she'll do it, then she'll do it. Crisis is not one to disappoint or let down, and will always see her end through or die trying. Leaving Crisis with a job is leaving it in good hands, because she will be sure to carry it out without fail. negative points. ■ irritable - Her tempers short, her mouth is big, and she doesn't tolerate much of anything that she doesn't like. The smallest things can throw Crisis into a bad-mouthing fit. It's always saver to say nothing when around her. |

experiment type. other
abilities. Crisis is a unique type of technopath, as she does not have free control over technology as one might expect from a typical 'technopath'. Her ability does not give her any additional control over technology, and the only control she displays is through her own personal knowledge.
Her true ability is the ability to bring the digital into the physical. In board terms, Crisis is able to translate programs and digital scripts into the physical world as tangable objects. However not all programs can be translated. Unique programs must be written and created just for this purpose, and depict the function, appearance, and other meticulous details about what it would appear as in the physical world. Due to the extreme conplexity of such programs, Crisis has only ever successfully created two, among numerous failures.
The first is a sniper rifle. Based off the PTRD-41 model Russian Sniper Rifle, its functions, limitations, and appearance are essentially the same as the original.
The second is a pair of mechanical leg enhancers. Like boots, the enhancers wrap around her legs, covering her feet (shoes and clothing included) all the way up to her knees. A pair of wheels are mounted at the base of the enhancers and are mechanically propelled without any need for Crisis to move herself. The enhancers serve to rapidly increase her speed, height of her jumps, strength of her kicks, as well as absorb impact on landings.
Extended use of this ability leads to severe migraine headaches, which prompts Crisis to use it with reservation and only when necessary.
history Short on funds, ITEX had turned to creating experiments which they could sell for use as weapons. Crisis was one such experiment. Crisis was identified as no more then a serial number, as she was a test tube baby and bore not even a family name. Initially with the intentions of enhancing her physical abilities to super human levels, ITEX was sourly disappointed when she turned out to have only above average abilities, and was nothing worth mentioning.
But she could still be of use. What they wanted to enhance physically had turned out to enhance her mentally. She exhibited genius level technical skills and revealed her in-born ability to translate the digital into the physical. This ability, the scientists hoped, could be manipulated to generate weapons that were otherwise unpractical to carry while on a mission. And so her trainning began.
Crisis' early life was spent more like an Eraser then like any of the other experiments. She was pushed to her physical limits, trained to hunt and kill, and ultimately taught the art of assassination. When it was discovered that she had to be in close proximity with the program to make it physical, ITEX eliminated the need of a jump drive or computer by grafting a USB port into the side of her neck where information could be stored. Problem solved, no?
At eleven years old, Crisis became a living example of nature vs nurture, and nature was winning. She was inherently rebellious, irritable, and rude. No amount of grooming could change that. But it was also around then that ITEX saw the fatal flaw in her ability. Not only did its use induce severe crippling migraines, but so far, Crisis had only successfully created one program, the sniper rifle. At this rate, she wasn't even worth selling. So it was inevitable that she was called for termination.
Well aware of her impending doom, Crisis made her second break through and developed the leg enhancers. With them, she made her escape from the School. They were pitted against their own creation that they'd taught to survive, and now she was putting all that knowledge to use. From then on, Crisis lived like a stray cat. She never stayed in the same location and drifted in and out of the shadows. She pickpocketed and manipulated ATMs for money, and murdered all those who followed her. Somewhere along the line she gave herself a name, simply because it was inconvinient without one. She did not attend school, she never even had a semi-permenent residence, and she never considered revenge against the School. Crisis truely lived whimsically, without a care or desire.
