She has a sight and hearing range much higher than the average human's, matching that of her owl counterpart. history. Riven never learned the situation of her birth, nor the fate of her parents. The earliest memory she has is being snatched from them by men in white coats. As per usual with children such as herself, she'd fallen victim to their many cruel, painful experiments. She was too young to understand why it was happening, so she was forced to accept it all. Sooner than later, Riven finally understood what was happening to her, and many of the other child experiments. It was a cruel reality for her to believe - and she refused to believe it. This was all a huge shock to her, and weighed heavily on her mind. It was all too much for such a young mind. All she wanted was to forget it all. Riven suffered through a mental breakdown, which eventually led to a mental phase - which was triggered by the harsh reality she refused to accept. Eventually, she passed out for several hours. Upon waking up, Riven found herself laying in a dark alleyway, with little to no memory of how she got there. All she remembers is her name, and the vague feeling that somebody was after her. After wandering around for what seemed like days, taking refuge in abandoned shelters created by homeless people, a kind, elderly woman discovered her, and brought her to her home. When asked how she ended up like this, Riven couldn't answer the woman. Feeling sorry for her, the woman took her in and cared for her. [/style] |
